Rose
Rose has been managing pubs in and around Sussex and Surrey for about 15 years.
She loves all things IPA – especially NEIPAs and DIPAs. She also has a soft spot for a cheeky sour and the occasional cider.
Rose is our beer expert and has extensive experience in cellar management. Her favourite hops are Citra and Nelson Sauvin.
Rose is a customer service guru and has received countless positive reviews on Google and TripAdvisor while managing various pubs, including our personal favourite; “Rose is without doubt the best barmaid in Sussex!“. She’s also Queen of the One Liners, so watch out for a pun or three.
Xen
Xen managed off-licences in Sussex and London in the early to mid 2000’s and attained an Advanced (Level 3) WSET certification while doing so. They went on to achieve a degree in Marketing Food & Drink and have worked at numerous pubs, bars and events over the years.
Xen enjoys rich, chocolatey stouts, Chilean Carmenère and whiskey cocktails.
Xen is our resident nerd and their favourite TTRPG is Mörk Borg (though Gloomhaven got them through lockdown!). Their favourite fantasy series is The Kingkiller Chronicles but they also have a soft spot for Lord of the Rings, and they’ve spent more hours than they’re willing to admit playing Skyrim.
